PVC foam P100 is PVC foam is one of the most superior, closed-cell, lightweight materials, mainly used for the parts of marine.
PVC foam core materials are an all-purpose series used in multiple industries and available in a wide density range suitable for different manufacturing processes, such as closed moulding, including RTM and infusion and elevated temperature processing with prepreg.
PVC foam P100 is a closed cell, cross-linked PVC foam. It provides superior strength to weight ratio for all composite applications.PVC foam P100 combines excellent stiffness/strength to weight ratio with superior toughness. The fine cell structure offers a great bonding surface and is compatible with most resins and manufacturing processes.
PVC foam P100 offers excellent mechanical properties and low weight. It is widely used and has a proven track record in virtually every application area employing sandwich composites, including wind, marine, industry, and transport.
With good impact strength, low resin absorption, high fatigue resistance, good fire performance (self-extinguishing) properties, PVC foam P100 is extremely consistent in cross section and bonds well to resin and laminate constructions. Like boatbuilding, nacelles, turbine generator housings and many others.
