SMC (Sheet Moulding Compounds)
Union sheet moulding compound based on NPG/ISO/ORO unsaturated polyester resin/ Vinyl ester resin or Epoxy resin, fiberglass woven roving or chopped strand or carbon fiber reinforced, contains mineral fillers and other materials.
SMC materials are thermosets and contain glass or carbon reinforcement levels between 18 and 60 percent. The longer fibres in SMC result in better strength properties.
BMC (Bulk Moulding Compounds)
Bulk Molding Compound (BMC) is a combination of fiberglass chopped strand 6 or 12mm with resin as a bulk prepreg. It contains higher fillers. The reinforcement is generally between 10% and 20%, sometimes up to 28%. BMC is suitable for complex components such as electrical equipment, car components (headlamps) and housings for electrical appliances and tools in large industrial volumes.

We customize the color based on RAL color code, reach the electrical part standard, such as impact and fire resistant standard.

1. Can you make the same color of our SMC product?Yes. We can customize as your requirement. For color, we use the lastest version of RAL color code. Rugular color example:
RAL7035 Light Grey
RAL1015 Light Ivory
RAL 9004 Signal Black
If you have strict standard for the color, you can send a small sample piece, then we can compare and provide to you.
How can u make sure the different batches of your product have the same color
Our QC dept. have spectrocolorimeter to make sure the final product of different batches product have a ΔE < 2. -
2. What is the shelf life of SMC?Usually you can keep 5~6 months from production to use, if in the suitable storage condition. Please store it in and keep in a cool, ventilated and dry place below 25°C. Avoid fire, keep away from heat and radiation sources. Avoid water and prohibit exposure to sunlight and open storage.
For foreign customers, we will use Reefer container (18C temperature).
Once you open the package, please use it all during three days. -
3. How do you pack the SMC?We use zig-zag way to load into the pallet.
Pallet size: 1.06*1.06*0.7meters, 1000kg per pallet. (±5% difference)
In 20ft Reefer container, load 20000kg (20tons)， 20pallets.
The materials are sealed with multi-layer PP film packaging, plus aluminium-plated film to prevent the Light Source. The outer layer is packed in multi-layer cartons and fumigation-free pallets. -
4. Can we get samples?Yes. We can provide free sample. (within 10kg)

5. What is the delivery time?Usually 7 days from other to delivery.
