PVC foam P45 is a closed cell, cross-linked polymer foam that has good heat retention, mainly used for refrigerated trucks and LNG carriers.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) foam sheets are produced by expanding the reactive liquid in a controlled space and under tightly controlled conditions, which is a closed cell, cross-linked polymer foam. Lightweight and rigid with excellent mechanical and structural properties, PVC foam P45 is extremely consistent in cross section and bonds well to resin and laminate constructions. Our regular specification of PVC foam P45 is 2650*1220mm(plain board) or 1320*1220mm(board with surface treatment).
With good heat retention, low resin absorption, high fatigue resistance, good fire performance (self-extinguishing) properties, PVC foam P45 is extremely consistent in cross section and bonds well to resin and laminate constructions. PVC foam P45 can be used to make the compartment plates of refrigerated trucks, LNG ships and many other markets.
