Union sheet moulding compound 6004 with A level surface and 0 shrinkage properties, mainly used in engine hood, roof cover, left and right side panels, front and rear doors, fenders, luggage compartment covers.
The final SMC parts for SMC6004 with good surface flatness, good brightness and good fluidity, good strength, this sheet is white or natural color, and also can be used in subsequent painting requirements.
SMC Sheet material specifications: The standard width of this sheet is 1000 mm. After folding, it is stored in a packaging bag that has a shielding effect on volatile substances, and is transported in a cardboard box/wooden box;1000kg per pallet, 20tons in 20RF container.
Storage conditions: It is recommended to store in the dark below 20℃.
Sheet Molding Compound(SMC) has become the preferred material for automotive component manufacturing due to its high design freedom, lightweight, integrated, and high efficiency characteristics. The SMC process combines the excellent formability of premixes with the good strength of adsorbed preforms, overcoming other process weaknesses. Its process characteristics are as follows

4) The product has good dimensional stability, a smooth surface, and can reach an A-level surface

How can u make sure the different batches of your product have the same color Our QC dept. have spectrocolorimeter to make sure the final product of different batches product have a ΔE<2.
Q: What is the shelf life of SMC?A: Usually you can keep 5~6 months from production to use, if in the suitable storage condition. Please store it in and keep in a cool, ventilated and dry place below 25°C. Avoid fire, keep away from heat and radiation sources. Avoid water and prohibit exposure to sunlight and open storage.For foreign customers, we will use Reefer container (18C temperature). Once you open the package, please use it all during three days.
Q: How do you pack the SMC?A: We use zig-zag way to load into the pallet. Pallet size: 1.06*1.06*0.7meters, 1000kg per pallet. (±5% difference)In 20ft Reefer container, load 20000kg (20tons)， 20pallets. The materials are sealed with multi-layer PP film packaging, plus aluminium-plated film to prevent the Light Source. The outer layer is packed in multi-layer cartons and fumigation-free pallets.
Q: Can we get samples?A: Yes. We can provide free sample. (within 10kg)
Q: What is the delivery time?A: Usually 7days from other to delivery.
