SMC 6006W is a special SMC sheet with low shrinkage properties, Woven roving and chopped strand has been selected to combine good mouldability with high strength, NPG resin to ensure the final product with bright surface, weather resistance, water resistance properties. This product is mainly used in structural parts of vehicle parts, medium components, air conditioning cover, etc.
Sheet Moulding Compound (SMC) SMC6006W is a customized composite material designed to meet high strength and durability requirements. It consists of fiberglass woven roving and chopped strand reinforcement, which provide excellent mechanical properties such as flexural strength up to 220MPA and tensile strength up to 100MPA. The raw materials used in SMC6006W are top-quality, including resin from Ineos and fiberglass from Jushi. This material is exported worldwide in refrigerator containers for various applications like water tank panels, high-strength boxes, structure parts, and more. A wide range of RAL list colors are available as well. The shelf life of SMC6006W at 18 degrees Celsius can be up to 5 months from the production date.
SMC6006W offers several key features, including:
1.High strength: Flexural strength over 220MPA and tensile strength over 100MPA , impact strength over 100KJ/M2.
2.Low shrinkage: 0.12%
3.Fiberglass content : 30-33% including smc roving and woven roving.
4.Recommended pressing process:(For your reference)
（1）molding time: In principle, the product thickness is about 1min per 1mm, which can be adjusted according to the actual situation
（2）molding temperature: front side (bright side of product) / back side: 146-150 ℃ / 138-142 ℃. (Note: This temperature is the mold surface temperature.)
（3）Molding pressure: 100Kgf / cm2.

How can u make sure the different batches of your product have the same color Our QC dept. have spectrocolorimeter to make sure the final product of different batches product have a ΔE<2.
Q: What is the shelf life of SMC?A: Usually you can keep 5~6 months from production to use, if in the suitable storage condition. Please store it in and keep in a cool, ventilated and dry place below 25°C. Avoid fire, keep away from heat and radiation sources. Avoid water and prohibit exposure to sunlight and open storage.For foreign customers, we will use Reefer container (18C temperature). Once you open the package, please use it all during three days.
Q: How do you pack the SMC?A: We use zig-zag way to load into the pallet. Pallet size: 1.06*1.06*0.7meters, 1000kg per pallet. (±5% difference)In 20ft Reefer container, load 20000kg (20tons)， 20pallets. The materials are sealed with multi-layer PP film packaging, plus aluminium-plated film to prevent the Light Source. The outer layer is packed in multi-layer cartons and fumigation-free pallets.
Q: Can we get samples?A: Yes. We can provide free sample. (within 10kg)
Q: What is the delivery time?A: Usually 7days from other to delivery.
